Nate Diaz Sues For $9 Million Fight Purse From Jorge Masvidal Match

Nate Diaz claims he hasn't received the $9 million he was promised for his boxing match with Jorge Masvidal. Diaz has filed a lawsuit, saying he hasn't been paid for their fight.

After leaving the UFC last year, Diaz fought Jake Paul in his first boxing match and lost. This month, he fought Masvidal in a boxing rematch and won. 

Despite his victory, Diaz says he hasn't been paid for the fight. TMZ Sports reports that Diaz had a deal with Fanmio promoter Solomon Engel to be paid $9 million for the match.

However, after the fight, Engel told Diaz he couldn't pay because the event didn't do as well as expected. Now, Diaz is suing for fraud and breach of contract.

The situation is a setback for Diaz as he continues his career outside the UFC. Despite this, he still has many opportunities for future fights.
