LeBron James, 39, continues to amaze fans with his performance in his 21st NBA season. Despite his age, James has shown little sign of slowing down, especially on offense.

Recently, two former Los Angeles Lakers players discussed LeBron's greatness on Dwight Howard's podcast, "Above The Rim With DH 12." Howard, an eight-time All-Star and former Lakers big man, brought up the topic of whether James might be the greatest player of all time.

DeMarcus Cousins, a four-time All-Star who was with the Lakers during their 2019-20 championship run but couldn’t play due to injury, praised James for his incredible performance. Cousins noted that LeBron is doing things at 39 that are “unheard of,” pointing out that he's still averaging 25 points per game.

During the discussion, Howard asked a provocative question: "You think it’s steroids?" He was referring to James' continued excellence despite his age. However, Cousins refused to engage, saying he didn’t want to get into that.

Quinn Cook, another former Laker who now plays with Howard and Cousins on the Taiwan Mustangs, was also part of the conversation. All three players shared time with the Lakers during different periods.

LeBron James' longevity and high level of play continue to spark discussions, but the question of whether there's more to it than hard work remains unanswered.
