Stephen Curry Wants More Chances To Compete With LeBron

Stephen Curry and LeBron James recently played together at the Paris Olympics, where they helped Team USA win gold. LeBron was named MVP, averaging 14.2 points, 8.5 assists, and 6.8 rebounds.

While Curry had a slow start in the tournament, he stepped up when it mattered most in key games. Their time as teammates made fans wonder if they could ever team up in the NBA

In an interview with People, Curry spoke about his respect for LeBron after their time together. "All the battles we've had on the court... there's a deepened respect and friendship," Curry said.

He added that he hopes for more chances to compete with LeBron, whether they're teammates or not. Both players signed extensions with their current teams this summer, with LeBron staying in Los Angeles and Curry in San Francisco.

They’ve both said they want to retire with their current teams, which makes it unlikely they'll play together in the NBA anytime soon. While it would be exciting for fans, a trade is improbable due to the importance of both stars to their teams.

For now, fans will have to enjoy the memories of their Olympic partnership.
