Trump Says No To Second TV Debate Before Election

Former President Donald Trump has announced that he will not take part in a second TV debate ahead of the upcoming November presidential election. He called it "too late" because voting has already started.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, accepted an invitation to a CNN debate on October 23. However, Trump told his supporters at a rally that there’s no need for another debate, claiming he already won the first one in early September.

Harris's team believes another debate is necessary. Her campaign manager, Jen O'Malley Dillon, said the American people deserve another chance to see the candidates side by side.

Trump supporters at the rally shared mixed feelings. Some felt the first debate was enough, while others, like Steve Castellano, suggested another debate but on a platform Trump chooses, even mentioning Joe Rogan as a possible moderator.

Harris currently holds a small lead over Trump in national polls, and the race remains tight. North Carolina, where Trump held his rally, is considered an important battleground in the election.

Both candidates took shots at each other during the last debate. Trump accused Harris of being a "radical left" politician, while Harris poked fun at Trump’s crowd sizes and mentioned criticism from within his own party.
