Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was handcuffed outside Hard Rock Stadium just before their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hill was stopped by police for a traffic violation and briefly detained. Photos of Hill in handcuffs started to appear on social media, causing a stir.

According to ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington, Hill was cited for reckless driving after a verbal altercation with the police. After the situation calmed down, Hill was released and went on to play in the Dolphins' 20-17 win.

The Dolphins released a statement saying Hill was pulled over near the stadium, but was let go and safely made it to the game.

Hill, after the game, told reporters he didn’t understand why he was detained. "I wasn't disrespectful... I still don't know what happened," he said. Hill also raised concerns about how the situation could have gone differently if he wasn’t famous.

Another Dolphins player, Calais Campbell, was also briefly handcuffed while trying to calm things down. He was cited for not following a direct order from the police.

The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating the incident. One officer involved has been placed on desk duty during the review.

Despite the drama, Hill played a key role in the Dolphins' win, catching seven passes for 130 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown. After the game, Hill posted confidently on social media, saying, "When you him nothing can stop you."

The Dolphins won the game with a last-second field goal, beating the Jaguars 20-17.
