Jennifer Lopez is focusing on herself after her split from Ben Affleck. Over a month after filing for divorce, she spoke about the tough year she went through and how it changed her view on life and relationships.

In an interview with comedian Nikki Glaser, Jennifer shared that she realized the importance of being happy on her own. "You have to be complete on your own if you want something better," she said. Without directly mentioning Affleck, she explained, "Being in a relationship doesn’t define me. I need to find happiness within myself."

Jennifer, who filed for divorce in August after two years of marriage, also made it clear that she’s not interested in dating right now. "I’m not looking for anybody," she said. "I want to see what I can do on my own and just be free."

Even though the breakup was painful, Jennifer said she has no regrets about her relationship with Ben. "I don’t regret any of it. It was hard, but it’s exactly what I needed."

She also addressed rumors and false stories about her life. "I know people say things that aren’t true about me, but I know who I am, and that’s all that matters," she said. "I know I’m a good person and a good mom."

Jennifer, who has 16-year-old twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, canceled her tour earlier this year to focus on herself and her kids. "It was the hardest time of my life, but also the best because I got to work on myself."

But she won’t be away from the stage for long. "I’ll be back performing soon and shaking my ass before you know it," she added with a smile.
