Francis Ngannou, former UFC heavyweight champion, has responded to a recent callout from heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder. After making his debut in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) last month, Ngannou hinted at returning to the boxing ring.
Ngannou’s PFL debut came in October, where he knocked out Renan Ferreira in the first round of their "Battle of the Giants" fight. The win proved that Ngannou remains one of the best heavyweight fighters in the world.
Despite his success in MMA, Ngannou has also gained attention in boxing. During his break from MMA, he fought high-profile matches against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, earning massive paydays despite losing both bouts.

Wilder, known as "The Bronze Bomber," recently said he is still interested in fighting Ngannou. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Wilder called it "a combination station" and said he’s eager to make it happen.
Ngannou, now 38, says he’s open to the idea but isn’t rushing into anything. “I will wait a couple of months to see if the PFL pulls something up,” Ngannou told TMZ Sports. “If not, I will see if there’s something in boxing. I know I can do either.”
Ngannou also confirmed that a fight with Wilder remains on his radar. “If I have a couple of fights left, I would like that to be one of them,” he added.
For now, Ngannou is exploring options in both MMA and boxing, while fans eagerly await news of his next opponent. Source
