Dwight Howard wants to step into the ring with Shaquille O'Neal, but Shaq says not so fast. After seeing the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight, Howard called out Shaq on social media, asking him to fight. "Shaq, wassup up let's make bread," Howard tweeted, along with a boxing glove and laughing-crying emoji.
Shaq quickly shut down the challenge, writing, "Gotta have more than one ring to get in the ring with me. I'll stick with a real champion like @RobGronkowski, and you can have the Superman belt, all yours buddy."
While Dwight Howard won an NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020, Shaq has four NBA championships to his name.

Howard's challenge came after the Netflix event between Tyson and Paul. When someone pointed out that Howard hadn't tagged Shaq, Howard responded, "I'm blocked lol."
Shaq then explained that if Howard really wanted to fight him, he'd need to first beat an NFL player. Shaq also questioned why Howard waited until he turned 50 to issue the challenge. "If you win against an NFL guy, then we can talk," Shaq wrote. "If you make it to the Hall of Fame, then we'll do it."

Shaq added that he had been thinking about a show where NBA players face off against NFL players, and that's what Howard could join.
The Tyson vs. Paul fight has inspired other celebrities to consider boxing, including IShowSpeed, who said he could beat Jake Paul with six months of training. Meanwhile, Tyson's friend Evander Holyfield has also offered to fight him, but Tyson doesn't seem interested. Source
