Nate Diaz Wants his UFC Contract Extended

Nate Diaz remains among the most legitimate fighters to have ever entered the Octagon. He last competed against Jorge Masvidal in November 2019 for the "BMF" title.

Even though he lost the fight via doctor's stoppage, Diaz is far from finished in the fight game. He also has lofty ambitions after retiring from MMA.

Diaz officially made his Octagon return by facing Leon Edwards at UFC 263. His return didn't quite turn out the way he had expected as he lost the fight. Furthermore, he expressed the desire to return to the Octagon within three to four months.

There is speculation about what will happen to Diaz at the UFC since he still has one fight on his contract. As of now, his future at the company is unclear.

Diaz wants to sign a contract extension with UFC because he wants some time to prepare for a fight with Conor McGregor next year.

UFC president Dana White thinks Diaz is too old to fight in the UFC. Diaz is likely to sign a contract extension and we will need to wait to see who will be his next opponent.
