Drew played college basketball for UCLA and the New Mexico Lobos. Despite going undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft, he built a successful career overseas. He played for teams like Partizan in the EuroLeague, where he teamed up with notable players such as Nikola Milutinov, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Davis Bertans.
