Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, almost 58, experienced a "medical emergency" on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

Tyson's representatives reported he felt nauseous and dizzy on Sunday during the flight, which had been delayed by two hours due to the heat.

Paramedics boarded the plane to treat Tyson upon landing in Los Angeles. A representative told the New York Post, “Thankfully, Mr. Tyson is doing great.

He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing at LAX. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

Tyson is set to fight
Jake Paul on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. He has stopped his daily marijuana use while training for the eight-round match, as it is banned in Texas.

Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) last fought professionally in 2005 but participated in an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.
