Image
Photo: Instagram/Klay Thompson Klay Thompson is reportedly getting closer to a return to the field, as he is expected either just before Christmas or possibly right after, depending on his health. As of now, he's been practicing with the Golden State Warriors' G League affiliate in Santa Cruz and will continue to get game action with the team before returning to the Warriors. Thompson has participated in scrimmages for the Santa Cruz Warriors, playing for extended stretches and appearing like his old self. Photo: Instagram/Klay Thompson Although it may only be a few clips in a G League practice, it is great to see Thompson back on the court. Unsurprisingly, he has been locked in from day one. Santa Cruz's head coach, Seth Cooper, said Thompson couldn't miss when he stepped on the court. According to Cooper, "He's cleared for full go, so everything we did was 100 percent him going.". "There was no holding him back. "It was just letting him experie

Even though he lost the fight via doctor's stoppage, Diaz is far from finished in the fight game. He also has lofty ambitions after retiring from MMA. Diaz officially made his Octagon return by facing Leon Edwards at UFC 263. His return didn't quite turn out the way he had expected as he lost the fight. Furthermore, he expressed the desire to return to the Octagon within three to four months. Photo: Instagram/Nate Diaz There is speculation about what will happen to Diaz at the UFC since he still has one fight on his contract. As of now, his future at the company is unclear. Diaz wants to sign a contract extension with UFC because he wants some time to prepare for a fight with Conor McGregor next year. UFC president Dana White thinks Diaz is too old to fight in the UFC. Photo: Instagram/Khris Middleton Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton suffered a hyperextended left knee late in the third quarter of Milwaukee's 117-103 loss to the Celtics at TD Garden and did not return, but early signs suggest he will not be sidelined for a long time. During the third quarter, Middleton collided with teammate Rodney Hood as the two pursued a defensive rebound, and his leg buckled awkwardly. After he winced and remained on the ground for a moment, Middleton rose to his feet and limped to the other end of the court for Milwaukee's subsequent offensive possession. After the game, however, the Bucks committed a foul, and Middleton walked straight to the locker room. The Bucks were optimistic Middleton's injury wouldn't be a long-term one. It was announced by the UFC and Adesanya's representatives, but there was just one problem: Adesanya said it was a lie. Adesanya responded to the news by tweeting an emoji of a 'cap,' a slang for lying. During his press conference following UFC 269, Dana White was informed of his superstar fighter's response. He responded in a fiery manner, to say the least. According to White and another UFC executive, Adesanya had signed a written contract prior to the fight. Photo: Instagram/Dana White At UFC 243, Adesanya knocked out Whittaker in the second round to win the Australian's world title. He then attempted to move up to light heavyweight, but failed. At UFC 259, Adesanya lost the title fight against Jan Bachowicz. Afterwards, he returned to his natural weight and defended his middleweight title agains

Coaches of The LA Lakers Rumored to Change Their Game Plan Because of Injuries

Image
Photo: Instagram/Anthony Davis Coaches of the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to improve their team's performance after a 13-12 start to the NBA season. ESPN's Dave McMenamin reports that the coaches are rumored to change their game plan "on the fly" because of injuries. The performances of Anthony Davis and LeBron James have been affected by injuries to their thumbs and abdominals, respectively. Aside from the two-star players, other members of the roster are also struggling to win the necessary victories needed for the team. In an interview with ESPN, Lakers assistant coach David Fizdale justified the team's offensive strategy by claiming that each player gets a chance to shoot and leaves little room for postmatch complaints. Photo: Instagram/Anthony Davis Going forward in the season, it will be interesting to see whether the team has any effective solutions to improve its performance. Despite not knowing when he will return, Morris has been out since he was injured in a sc

Bradley Beal is Considering All Options Before Free Agency

Image
Photo: Instagram/Bradley Beal Bradley Beal is one of the most high-profile free agents who will be available this offseason. Will he sign another profitable extension with the Washington Wizards or pursue a championship with other teams? The biggest fish in this offseason is Beal, so many teams will try to persuade him to sign a contract. Beal is a candid star capable of changing the deep-rooted hopes of any team he merges. Nevertheless, not many teams will have max salary cap space. Can Beal force his way to a contender with a sign-and-trade? It might be his best option unless he signs a super-max extension with the Wizards. Photo: Instagram/Bradley Beal Washington has done an excellent job rebuilding around Beal since Russell Westbrook's exit. Performing better than expected during the preseason, Washington is presently considered a playoff team. But is it enough to keep championship-hungry Beal around until the peak of his career? In addition, Wojnarowski shared that Lillard is aiming for a massive contract extension this summer. In July, Lillard wants a $107 million two-year extension, but his agent needs the next general manager to sell ownership on the idea. Wojnarowski wrote that Lillard would be 36 at that point and would be well into his twilight years. The belief that
