Former UFC ‘BMF’ champion Jorge Masvidal has raised concerns about Conor McGregor's preparation for his upcoming UFC 303 fight. Videos surfaced this week showing McGregor partying at his pub, The Black Forge Inn in Ireland, causing a stir in the MMA community.

Despite the concerns, McGregor responded on social media, stating, “Some are just built different. I am only now coming into my own. June 29th, records and jaws are getting smashed.” Meanwhile, his opponent, Michael Chandler, appears to be in top shape as he gears up for his first welterweight fight in 14 years.

Masvidal weighed in on McGregor's preparation and the fight itself on the Timbo and Sugar Show. He questioned McGregor's commitment and hinted at possible drug use, referencing McGregor’s absence from the USADA testing pool since his leg injury in 2021. However, McGregor has been tested nine times this year, making him the most-tested athlete in the UFC.

Masvidal, despite his concerns, is tentatively picking McGregor to win. "I think I lean towards Conor, but it’s not really set in stone," he said, adding that McGregor's social media posts sometimes seem incoherent.

Looking to the future, Masvidal also mentioned a possible fight with McGregor outside the UFC. McGregor, now part owner of BKFC, has hinted at fighting in the promotion. Masvidal expressed interest in fighting McGregor under his own Gamebred Promotions, though not in Bare Knuckle Boxing.

“He’s never been interested in (a fight against me), he knows I’ve got some size on him, I’ll f****** hit that boy,” Masvidal asserted.

As UFC 303 approaches, the focus remains on whether McGregor's party lifestyle will affect his performance in the octagon.
