Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is taking time to consider his future with the team, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst.

Following the team's season-ending loss to the Detroit Lions, Rodgers was non-committal on his plans for next season.

Gutekunst stated that he had "good conversations" with Rodgers before the team went on break for the offseason.

Rodgers is currently under contract through the 2026 season, but has made it clear that his contract will not play a role in his decision.

The quarterback is contemplating whether he has anything left to prove to himself, whether it's time for another voice to lead the team, or if it's time to step away.

The 2022 season was a challenging one for Rodgers, who lost his top receiver and saw several skill position players injured, resulting in a 4-8 start for the team.

Despite missing the playoffs for the first time since 2018, Rodgers has no regrets about his 15-year career with the team.
