Alex Pereira To Defend Middleweight Title Against Rival Israel Adesanya At UFC 287 On April 8th

Alex Pereira will rematch Israel Adesanya for the middleweight title at UFC 287 on April 8th.

Pereira won the title by knocking out Adesanya in the final round of their fight last November.

The location and venue for the event have not been announced, but it is expected to take place in New York with potential venues being the Barclays Center and Madison Square Garden.

This will be a chance for Adesanya to avenge his defeat, as Pereira had previously beaten him twice in their kickboxing days.

In addition to the main event, the co-main event of UFC 287 will feature Jorge Masvidal fighting Gilbert Burns, and 18-year-old Raul Rosas Jr will also be competing.

Kevin Holland and Rob Font vs. Adrian Yanez are also added to the card.
