In a recent video, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin publicly spoke for the first time since suffering a near-fatal cardiac arrest during a Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

In the video, Hamlin expressed his gratitude for the support he received and thanked various people and groups who were involved in his life-saving treatment and care.

He also thanked the Bills' fanbase, his teammates, and the city of Cincinnati for their outpouring of support.

Hamlin also spoke about his foundation, Chasing M's Foundation, which received nearly $8 million in donations after his injury.

He closed by saying that this is just the beginning of the impact he wants to have on the world and that he will continue to do great things with God's guidance.
