Former NFL Player Peyton Hillis In ICU After Saving Children From Drowning

Former NFL player Peyton Hillis is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) after rescuing his children from drowning.

Hillis, best known for his time with the Cleveland Browns and as the cover athlete for the Madden 12 video game, is receiving treatment for his lungs and kidneys.

Although he is unconscious in the ICU, his condition is said to be improving. Hillis' children are safe and unharmed.

The former NFL player, who played for the Browns, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, and New York Giants before retiring in 2014, was in Pensacola, Florida when the incident occurred.

Hillis has since pursued a career in acting.
