Former UFC Fighter Phil Baroni Arrested in Mexico on Suspicion of Killing Girlfriend

Phil Baroni, a former UFC fighter, has been arrested in Mexico on suspicion of killing his girlfriend, Paola.

According to reports, Baroni contacted local police and told them that Paola was unconscious in their hotel room.

When authorities arrived, they found Baroni naked and covered with a blanket, and Paola with bruises on her face and body.

Baroni claimed that he and Paola had been smoking marijuana and drinking beer when she told him she had cheated on him with another man, leading to an altercation in which he allegedly threw her into the shower.

Baroni said he then helped her up and put her to bed, covering her with a blanket when she said she was cold.

When he returned with a beer and cigarettes for her, he realized she was unresponsive. Baroni is currently being detained and may face a charge for murder.
