Mahomes Praises Lawrence's 'Baller Move' Of Celebrating At Waffle House After Playoff Win
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes praised Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence's decision to celebrate his team's playoff win at a Waffle House, calling it a "baller move."
Mahomes admitted he couldn't remember where he celebrated his first playoff win, but said Lawrence's move may inspire him to find a unique spot if the Chiefs win their upcoming game against the Jaguars.
Lawrence, who makes over $9 million per year, chose to take his teammates to Waffle House, a southern staple known for its affordable breakfast items, because it was a new experience for them.
The Chiefs and Jaguars will play in the AFC divisional round on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
