Ronaldo To Face PSG And Potential Messi Reunion In First Game In Saudi Arabia
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced on Monday that it will face a composite team of players from Al Nassr and Al Hilal in a friendly match on January 19th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This match will mark Cristiano Ronaldo's first game in Saudi Arabia and could potentially result in a reunion with his long-time rival, Lionel Messi, who plays for PSG.
However, Ronaldo will not make his official debut for Al Nassr until January 22nd, when they face Al Ettifaq in a league game.
This delay is due to a two-match suspension imposed by the English Football Association on Ronaldo in November, which he must serve before joining Al Nassr.
The suspension was a result of Ronaldo slapping a fan's phone out of their hand following a game against Everton in April.
PSG, which is owned by Qatar, is visiting Saudi Arabia during a two-day trip to the region, including a visit to Doha for promotional work with the club's Qatari sponsors.
