Steph Curry Poised To Make NBA History On Monday Night vs. Oklahoma City

Steph Curry, Golden State Warriors star, is poised to make NBA history on Monday. He faces the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With 29.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists per game average, 49.1% field goal and 42.2% 3-pt shooting, Curry is having a remarkable season.

He recently became the 40th player to score 21,000 points in league history.

Curry is 17 points away from overtaking DeMar DeRozan (21,083 points) for 39th on the all-time scoring list.

As long as he scores 17 points, he'll surpass DeRozan, who is playing for the Chicago Bulls and has 1,003 games under his belt.

DeRozan, a 5-time All-Star, is having a 26.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists per game average and shooting 51.3% from the field this season.

Curry and DeRozan's ranking may change as they continue their careers.

The Bulls and Warriors are both 9th seed in their respective conferences with 23-26 and 25-24 records.
