WWE's Controversial Plan Behind Brock Lesnar's Squash Match Against Kofi Kingston Revealed

Brock Lesnar, a well-known and accomplished professional wrestler, recently had a controversial match against Kofi Kingston in 2019.

Lesnar easily defeated Kingston in just seven seconds and became the WWE Champion.

However, many fans and wrestlers felt that this booking decision was a poor one and that Kingston deserved a better outcome.

Former WWE writer Chris Dunn revealed that the decision was made to make Lesnar look as dominant as possible before his feud with Cain Velasquez.

The match was also used to introduce Velasquez during the debut of SmackDown on FOX. However, this feud ultimately did not deliver and Velasquez was released by WWE shortly after.
