Alexander Volkanovski, the featherweight champion, is unfazed by Islam Makhachev's comments about his height.

Makhachev, the lightweight champion, is taller than Volkanovski by 4 inches, standing at 5-foot-10 while Volkanovski is 5-foot-6.

Despite his height, Volkanovski has built a style around himself and his height, and has had 22 consecutive wins, including 12 in the UFC.

He has a slight reach advantage over Makhachev and describes himself as "a brick wall".

Makhachev has a strong wrestling background, but has been talking about striking with Volkanovski, which Volkanovski thinks is unlikely to happen.

Volkanovski believes he has an advantage due to his fight IQ and plans to keep Makhachev uncomfortable on his feet.
