The NBA has investigated an altercation between associates of Grizzlies star Ja Morant and members of the Pacers' traveling party after a game between the two teams in Memphis on Jan. 29th.

The altercation reportedly started when someone in an SUV that Morant was in shined a red laser at the Pacers' traveling party, leading them to believe it was a gun.

However, the NBA could not confirm that any individual threatened others with a weapon.

The NBA's statement, made by spokesperson Mike Bass, stated that while a confrontational postgame situation occurred, no weapon was confirmed.

Some individuals involved in the situation have been banned from attending games at FedEx Forum.

Morant responded to the report on Sunday, saying "Did a investigation seen they were cappin...banned my brother from home games for a year. Unbelievable."
