The Philadelphia 76ers have expressed disappointment after point guard James Harden was not selected for the Eastern Conference All-Star team.

Only center Joel Embiid was named as a reserve for the 2023 All-Star Game, which was announced on Thursday night.

Despite Harden's impressive stats, including an average of 21.4 points, 11 assists, and 6.4 rebounds, he was not selected.

Harden is on track to lead the league in assists for the second time in his career, having previously done so in 2016-2017 while playing for the Houston Rockets.

The snub came as a shock to both fans and the team, including Harden himself, who took to Instagram to express his disappointment.

The 76ers and several team members also showed their support for Harden on Twitter.

Embiid will be the sole representative for the Sixers in the All-Star Game, which will be held on February 19.
