Jordan Clarkson is having a career-high season with the Utah Jazz after being elevated to a starring role due to team reconstruction.

He is averaging 21 points, four rebounds and four assists per game as a starter.

The Filipino-American athlete was surprised and grateful for the adulation he received from fans worldwide during the recent All-Star games in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he finished in the top 11 among Western Conference Guards.

Clarkson thanked his loyal Filipino supporters and is excited to participate with Gilas Pilipinas at the 2023 Fiba World Cup to be hosted in the Philippines.

Despite many fans and US media not knowing his Filipino heritage, he is proud of his background and has a tattoo of his grandmother on his chest.

Clarkson is one of the few NBA players who had the privilege to play with both Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, and he continues to be motivated by Bryant's words to be himself.

The All-Star weekend concluded with Clarkson helping the Jazz win the Skills Challenge, showing his comfort and synergy with the team.
