Lionel Messi Named Best Men's Player 2022 at FIFA Awards As Argentina Celebrates World Cup Triumph

Lionel Messi has been crowned Best Men's Player 2022 at the FIFA awards, with Argentina also being rewarded for their World Cup victory.

Messi, who led Argentina to the triumph, scored two goals in the final against France and was instrumental throughout the tournament.

The victory was secured on penalties following a 3-3 draw in Qatar.

Alexia Putellas won the Best Women's Player 2022 award, highlighting her performances for Barcelona and Spain.

Lionel Scaloni, the Argentina coach, was also recognized for his role in guiding the team to their World Cup success, winning the Best Men's Coach award.

Emiliano Martinez, the Argentina goalkeeper, was named Best Men's Goalkeeper for his impressive displays in the tournament.

Overall, it was a successful night for Argentina, with their players and coach being recognized for their efforts in winning the World Cup.
