The Phoenix Suns made a trade offer for Kyrie Irving, which included Chris Paul, Jae Crowder, and draft capital, as reported by Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

The Brooklyn Nets also received an offer from the Lakers, including Russell Westbrook and two first-round picks in 2027 and 2029.

The Nets requested all of their young players in exchange, including Austin Reaves and Max Christie.

The Suns were willing to give up Paul, Crowder, and one first-round pick, but the Nets asked for three first-round picks, which the Suns never added.

The Nets eventually accepted a trade offer from the Mavericks, including Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, and several draft picks.

The Suns' offer to trade their floor leader, Chris Paul, for Irving is surprising, considering Paul's age and injury history.

Crowder has been inactive this season, waiting for a trade.
