Ronda Rousey In Talks For Major Marvel Movie Role As Thundra

Former UFC fighter and WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey is reportedly in talks with Marvel for a major role in the upcoming “Captain America: New World Order” movie, according to Giant Freakin Robot.

The role being discussed is that of Thundra, a superhuman character who made her Marvel Comics debut in 1972.

Rousey has made a name for herself in Hollywood, having appeared in “The Expendables 3” and “Furious 7,” as well as numerous television roles.

She has also had success in the wrestling world, having won multiple championships in the WWE, including the Women’s Royal Rumble in 2022.

Rousey recently made her return to WWE television on the February 10, 2023, episode of Friday Night SmackDown, teaming up with Shayna Baszler to take out Natalya.

Despite her success in singles competition, Rousey has expressed interest in dominating the tag team division.

Whether or not Rousey will ultimately land the role of Thundra remains to be seen, but fans can expect to see more news and updates from Thirsty as details emerge.

US Court Orders Mayweather To Pay Nigerian Firm $2.4 Million For Contract Breach

Photo: Floyd Mayweather Jr. (Instagram) A U.S. court has ruled that former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. must pay $2.4 million to Zinni Media Concept Limited, a Nigerian company.  The case involves a contract breach from 2017 when Mayweather agreed to make appearances in Africa, including Nigeria.  However, he canceled the deal and did not return the money paid in advance.
