Tim Bradley Predicts Tough Challenge For Canelo Alvarez And Warns Of His Declining Spirit For The Sport

Former boxer Tim Bradley predicts that Canelo Alvarez will face a tough challenge in his upcoming fight against John Ryder on May 6th in Guadalajara, Mexico.

According to Bradley, Canelo has lost his spirit for the sport due to his outside business ventures and is merely "going through the motions" at this stage of his career.

However, Bradley believes that fighting in Mexico will help Canelo regain his motivation and passion for boxing.

Bradley also warns that Ryder's fast pace could pose a significant threat to Canelo if he is not at his best for the fight.

Losing to Ryder would make Canelo's planned rematch with Dmitry Bivol in September pointless, as he is already overlooking the threat Ryder presents.

Canelo's recent lackluster performances could be attributed to his passion for golf and his $180 million net worth, which make it challenging to maintain tunnel vision and stay at the top of the sport.

Canelo's decision to fight in his hometown is a smart move according to Bradley, who draws comparisons to Tyson Fury's decision to fight outside the states.

Bradley suggests that Canelo needs to return to where his career began to reignite his passion for the sport.

Despite being the underdog, Ryder has earned his place and could pose a real challenge to Canelo.

Bradley believes that Canelo is on the decline due to his fighting style and lack of urgency in the ring.

Going back to his roots in Mexico could be what Canelo needs to overcome his current challenges and stay at the top of the sport.
