Why It's Time For The Blazers To Consider Damian Lillard Trades And Change Course

The Portland Trail Blazers have finished above .500 against teams with a record of .500 or better only once during the Damian Lillard era, which has spanned the past decade.

Lillard has helped the Blazers make the playoffs eight times, but the team has never been able to contend against championship-caliber competition.

Despite interest from other teams, Lillard has remained loyal to Portland, and the Blazers have never considered trading him.

However, the team's recent defensive flaws and disappointing results this season suggest that it may be time for the Blazers to consider trading Lillard.

The Blazers may continue to make lateral changes, but without a significant overhaul, the team may struggle to contend.

The longer the Blazers maintain the status quo, the harder it will be to change course.

The team has two options: to continue trying to build around Lillard, which could hamper future roster-building, or to pursue a new direction for the franchise, which carries its own risks.

US Court Orders Mayweather To Pay Nigerian Firm $2.4 Million For Contract Breach

Photo: Floyd Mayweather Jr. (Instagram) A U.S. court has ruled that former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. must pay $2.4 million to Zinni Media Concept Limited, a Nigerian company.  The case involves a contract breach from 2017 when Mayweather agreed to make appearances in Africa, including Nigeria.  However, he canceled the deal and did not return the money paid in advance.
