Lionel Messi, who is normally seen wearing the No. 30 jersey for Paris Saint-Germain, created a stir among fans when he wore No. 10 in the match against Marseille in the last 16 of the Coupe de France.

The number switch was due to the competition rules that state that the starting players must wear numbers from 1 to 11.

The No. 10 shirt is occupied by Neymar, who had to switch to No. 11 for the match.

This is not the first time Messi has changed numbers in the French cup, as he also wore No. 10 in a previous game against Nice.

The Argentine star was famously associated with the No. 10 shirt during his years at Barcelona and wears it for Argentina as well.

However, he started his career wearing No. 30 and later switched to No. 19 due to LaLiga Santander regulations.
