Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, made waves at the 2023 McDonald's All American game in Houston on Tuesday.

With LeBron, wife Savannah, and younger son Bryce in attendance, Bronny suited up for the West roster alongside other top high school players.

Despite a close 109-106 defeat, Bronny put on an impressive performance, scoring 15 points, all of which came from beyond the arc. During the game, LeBron cheered his son on from the sidelines and was even seen celebrating after one of Bronny's three-pointers.

While many social media users were quick to compare Bronny's shooting abilities to those of his father, others simply praised the high school senior's overall game.

Jeff Goodman, a renowned basketball analyst, noted that Bronny can also run a team and share the ball. NFL analyst Chase Senior expressed his support for Bronny, praising his quick release, smooth stroke, and athleticism. Mark Gunnels, a basketball media personality, remarked that Bronny is "so polished."

Despite the loss, Bronny's talent has not gone unnoticed by college recruiters, as he was officially named a five-star college recruit.

While he has not yet announced where he will play after graduating from high school, Ohio State is reportedly the frontrunner to sign him for the 2023 college basketball season.

Although Bronny still has two years before he could potentially make his NBA debut, there is a strong chance he could one day team up with his father in a league game, as LeBron has expressed his desire to play alongside his son.

Overall, Bronny's performance at the McDonald's All American game has solidified his status as a rising star in the world of basketball.

While he may still have much to prove, his ability to impress on a national stage has earned him the respect and admiration of fans and analysts alike.
