The Golden State Warriors are facing uncertainty regarding the return of their forward, Andrew Wiggins, for the remainder of the current NBA season.

Wiggins, who is 28 years old, has been absent from the team for the past month due to personal reasons that have not been disclosed by the team.

His last appearance was on February 13, and he has been averaging 17.1 points and 5.0 rebounds in 37 starts during the current season.

Head coach Steve Kerr stated that there is no news to report on Wiggins' return, and the team is giving him space to deal with whatever he is going through.

Kerr also expressed the hope that Wiggins would return soon, but the priority is for him to address any personal matters that may be affecting him.

The Warriors have not shared any details about Wiggins' situation.

Golden State star Stephen Curry expressed his support for Wiggins and emphasized the importance of prioritizing personal matters over basketball.

Curry acknowledged that it has been a tough situation for Wiggins, and the team is missing his presence on the court.

Wiggins is known for being available whenever he is needed, and his absence is felt by the team.

Wiggins, who was a first-time All-Star and won an NBA championship with the Warriors in 2021-2022, signed a four-year, $109 million extension in October.

He was drafted No. 1 overall in 2014 and has had career averages of 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists through 635 games (all starts) with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Warriors.

The Warriors will continue to wait for Wiggins' return while respecting his need for privacy and support.
