Former NBA star, Shaquille O’Neal, is facing a lawsuit for promoting FTX crypto currency, which has been accused of fraud.

FTX saw a decline in November last year, and its founder was later charged with defrauding clients.

Shaq had collaborated with FTX to make crypto more accessible, but has now been named in the lawsuit due to his significant involvement with the company.

While Shaq distanced himself from the firm as things started to look grim, he was one of the most prominent celebrity advocates for the company.

He endorsed FTX during his Super Bowl festival, Shaq’s Fun House, which brought a lot of attention to the company.

The lawsuit claims that Shaq used his "persuasion" to get individuals to join the cause, and that he was aware of what he was convincing others to do.

Other celebrities such as Tom Brady, Giselle Bündchen, Steph Curry, and Larry David also promoted FTX.

However, the lawsuit mentions that Shaq is more significant than the other celebrities.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Shaq is allegedly avoiding the serving procedure, making it difficult for the complaint to reach him.

It is unfortunate that Shaq has found himself in a difficult situation due to his association with FTX.

The lawsuit is ongoing, and it remains to be seen how this will affect Shaq’s reputation and future collaborations with other companies.
