On Thursday night, during the Golden State Warriors' game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Stephen Curry attempted a look-away three-pointer that did not go as planned.

Curry confidently walked away thinking that he had made the shot, but the ball hit the iron and bounced away, much to his disappointment.

This mishap was reminiscent of Nick Young's infamous failed look-away triple, which went viral on social media a few years ago.

Despite Curry's incredible shooting abilities, he occasionally misses shots, as was the case with this particular attempt.

Twitter users, as expected, did not let him off the hook for his mistake.

Many took to the platform to poke fun at him, drawing comparisons to Young's memorable fail.

However, some fans defended Curry, stating that even the greatest players make mistakes.

Curry's performance on Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder was a stark contrast to Thursday's game, during which he struggled to find his rhythm.

Against OKC, Curry made ten out of sixteen three-pointers, contributing to his forty-point performance.

In contrast, he made only two of eight three-pointers against the Grizzlies, resulting in a disappointing outing for him and his team.

Despite the setback, Curry's impressive basketball career speaks for itself, and his legacy as one of the greatest shooters of all time is secure.

The fact that he is still able to generate social media buzz, even for a moment as small as this one, is a testament to his status as a pop culture icon.
