As the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings prepare to face off in the first round of the 2023 playoffs, there have been numerous comparisons made between the two teams.

However, Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma has expressed his frustration with these comparisons, stating that they are becoming absurd.

This was in response to a comment made by Kings insider James Ham, who claimed that the Kings' offense was better than any offense the Warriors had during their championship years.

Kuzma was clearly unhappy with this statement, indicating that it was disrespectful to the Warriors and their accomplishments.

Although the Kings had the best offensive rating in the recently concluded season, they have yet to achieve anything in the postseason, unlike the Warriors, who have proven time and again that they can dominate in multiple ways.

In a tweet, Kuzma expressed his annoyance with the comparisons, acknowledging the Kings' offensive prowess but insisting that people should be realistic.

It is understandable why Kings fans are excited about their team, which ended a 16-year playoff drought, but it is important not to set unrealistic expectations until the team actually competes in the NBA postseason.

While Ham's opinion may be influential due to his experience covering the Warriors in the past, it is worth noting that the Kings have a lot to prove.

Despite their impressive offensive performance during the regular season, it remains to be seen if they can maintain that level of play in the playoffs.

In the end, Kuzma's comments serve as a reminder that while comparisons can be entertaining, they should not be taken too seriously.

Each team has its own strengths and weaknesses, and it is ultimately up to them to prove their worth on the court.
