New York Yankees' star player, Aaron Judge, may have dropped a subtle hint regarding his return to the field.

The renowned slugger suffered a toe injury in early June after colliding with a wall during a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Since then, the Yankees have remained tight-lipped about his potential comeback, with manager Aaron Boone refraining from ruling out the possibility of Judge missing the entire season.

However, during an appearance on NBC's 'Today' show, Judge, along with Boone and pitcher Gerrit Cole, was asked about his anticipated return to the Yankees' lineup. In response, Judge replied, "Hopefully soon. We'll see. We got the All-Star Game coming up here, so hopefully that will buy me a couple of days and we'll be back there soon."

This statement led host Craig Melvin to humorously interpret it as Judge planning to return after the All-Star break, prompting laughter from the guests. In a gesture of support, Cole made a clear praying motion with his hands.

Melvin also inquired about how Judge has managed to stay involved with the team despite his injury. Judge expressed his commitment to staying focused and uplifting his teammates, offering words of encouragement when they face difficulties on the field.

Since his injury, Judge has been a regular presence at Yankees games, often engaging in catch sessions with his fellow players in the outfield.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone expressed satisfaction at seeing Judge actively participating in such activities, viewing them as positive signs of progress.

Although the recovery process has been slow, the team remains optimistic about Judge's return. Boone emphasized the importance of Judge being able to generate power through his back foot before he can resume hitting at full capacity.

Once Judge reaches that milestone, it will indicate that he is nearing the final stages of his rehabilitation and getting closer to rejoining the team.
