The Clippers are intensifying their efforts to reignite trade talks for James Harden, per a report. Despite his ongoing desire for a trade, Harden remains hopeful that a deal could send him to the Clippers.

According to The Athletic, the Clippers have been in discussions with multiple teams to accumulate draft assets that match the 76ers' valuation of the veteran guard.

Sources suggest that the Clippers are actively exploring pick swaps to acquire additional draft capital, aiming to strengthen their offer and secure a deal.

Harden, meanwhile, reported to the 76ers' training camp, intending to participate in the preseason and not be a distraction for the team.

Earlier this offseason, both sides engaged in trade talks regarding Harden but failed to reach an agreement. The report indicates that the Clippers are now going to great lengths to make the trade a reality.

In July, they reportedly offered Philadelphia an unprotected first-round pick, a pick swap, and matching salaries, but Daryl Morey, the 76ers' general manager, demanded more in exchange for the 34-year-old.

Despite previous setbacks and a public feud with Morey during the offseason, Harden remains optimistic about the possibility of a trade materializing.
