Adding to the excitement, the two-time MVP also delivered an impressive eight assists in the first quarter, further solidifying his multifaceted impact on the game.

Entering the matchup with impressive season averages of 28.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, 8.9 assists, and 1.2 steals, Jokic has been a key driving force for the Nuggets.

The team, currently holding the second seed in the Western Conference with a 12-6 record, is on a two-game winning streak and maintains a solid 8-0 record at home.

As the Nuggets gear up to face the Phoenix Suns in Arizona after the Rockets, Jokic, in his ninth NBA season, continues to assert himself as a top-five player.

Following their triumph in the 2023 NBA Championship against the Miami Heat, the Nuggets are poised to contend for the title once again this season.
