Davis, drawing on his own experiences, highlighted that even basketball legends like LeBron James faced challenges in their inaugural seasons.

During a post-game discussion, Davis playfully questioned LeBron James about his rookie year playoff performance, with James humorously admitting, "Sat on my couch."The underlying message was clear—building a franchise takes time, and Wembanyama shouldn't feel the need to single-handedly transform the team in his first year.
