Russell Westbrook Achieves Milestone In Trail Blazers-Clippers Showdown

In a thrilling Monday night clash between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers, Russell Westbrook etched his name in NBA history. 

Westbrook ascended the all-time regular season games played list, reaching his 1,116th career game, tying with Zach Randolph at 72nd place. The next milestone on Westbrook's horizon is surpassing Rick Mahorn's 1,117 games. 

Currently averaging 11.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, Westbrook's impactful presence on the court continues.

The Clippers, standing at 11-10 in their first 21 games, hold the ninth seed in the Western Conference. With a three-game winning streak and a 7-3 record in their last ten games, the team recently secured a 117-103 victory against the Utah Jazz.


In a 17-minute display during the game, Westbrook contributed five points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two blocks. 


As the fourth pick in the 2008 NBA Draft from UCLA, Westbrook, now in his 16th season, has played for various teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Washington Wizards, and currently the Clippers.

Westbrook's illustrious career boasts averages of 22.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per contest, demonstrating his enduring impact on the league.
