Klay Thompson's Historic Performance Propels Warriors Past Magic

On Tuesday evening, Klay Thompson etched his name in NBA history as the Golden State Warriors triumphed over the Orlando Magic with a final score of 121-115. 

Thompson's standout performance included 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a crucial block in 25 minutes of play, shooting 6/11 from the field and 3/8 from beyond the arc.

The game marked a milestone for Thompson, surpassing Richie Guerin to claim the 157th spot on the all-time scoring list with 14,677 points. The next target in Thompson's sights is Mike Bibby at 14,698 points.

Currently averaging 16.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, Thompson's shooting prowess stands at 42.0% from the field and an impressive 37.7% from three-point range over 32 games.


The victory lifted the Warriors to a 16-17 record, securing the 11th seed in the Western Conference and breaking a three-game losing streak. Looking ahead, the Warriors are set to face the Denver Nuggets on Thursday at the Chase Center.


Drafted 11th overall in 2011, Klay Thompson has been a cornerstone for the Warriors throughout his entire career, boasting career averages of 19.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. His remarkable shooting percentages of 45.4% from the field and 41.4% from beyond the arc reflect his consistent excellence over 747 regular-season games.


Thompson's contributions have been instrumental in the Warriors' success, contributing to four NBA Championships and six NBA Finals appearances since the 2015 season.
