Less than a fortnight after embracing a role off the bench, Klay Thompson has not only adapted seamlessly but has thrived, consistently delivering impressive performances for the Golden State Warriors.

With 20+ points and 5+ 3-pointers in 3-of-5 recent games, Thompson's transition to the second unit has proven to be a strategic move for the team.

In his most recent outing against the Washington Wizards, Thompson's 25 points, including six 3-pointers in just 27 minutes, marked a pivotal moment.

Not only did he surpass Paul Arizin for the fifth most made field goals in franchise history, but he also shared the court with Chris Paul for the first time, forming a dynamic partnership.

Thompson spoke highly of Paul, emphasizing his unparalleled ability to read the game, especially offensively. The duo showcased their chemistry during a crucial stretch in the third quarter, outscoring the Wizards by 21 points.

Drawing inspiration from legendary sixth man Manu Ginobili, Thompson expressed pride in being part of what he considers the best reserve backcourt in the league alongside Paul.

Both players are committed to doing whatever it takes to elevate the Warriors to new heights this season, aiming for championship success. (Source: NBA)
