In a heartfelt press conference, Jason Kelce officially confirmed his retirement from the NFL after 13 remarkable seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite the uncertainty, Kelce clarified his intentions on the New Heights podcast, emphasizing the need to make the decision public when ready.

Kelce, who openly discussed the possibility of retirement as early as October, decided to return for the 2023 season, signing a one-year deal with the Eagles.

The season started strong, but the team faced challenges, losing five of their final six regular-season games.

The 36-year-old's illustrious career includes starting all 205 games in both regular season and playoffs, earning six All-Pro first-team selections in the past seven seasons.

Kelce played a pivotal role in the Eagles' historic Super Bowl 52 victory against the New England Patriots, securing the franchise's first-ever Lombardi Trophy.

As Kelce bids farewell to the NFL, his legacy as a key figure in Philadelphia's success and a six-time All-Pro standout will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on the sport. (Source: BREACHER REPORT)
