Miami Heat faced a setback in their Play-In Tournament game against the 76ers when guard Jimmy Butler injured his right knee.

Butler, who led the Heat to the NBA Finals last season, hurt his knee in the first half while trying to make a move against Kelly Oubre Jr. He fell to the court, with Oubre landing on him.

"I fell, he landed, and my knee just didn’t do well, I guess," Butler said. Despite the injury, Butler continued to play, scoring 19 points in the game. However, the Heat fell short, losing 105-104 to the 76ers.

Butler mentioned that he would need an MRI to assess the extent of his injury. "It felt like I couldn’t do too much, which sucks with the timing of the game and everything," he added. The team is uncertain about his availability for their next Play-In Tournament game against either Chicago or Atlanta.

"It just wasn’t the case," Butler reflected on his performance. "I wasn’t able to do anything on either side of the ball. I think I hurt us more than I helped us actually."

The Heat will host the winner of the game between Chicago and Atlanta on Friday night to determine the No. 8 seed in the tournament.
