In an epic showdown against the Philadelphia 76ers, Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks etched his name in NBA history books during Game 6.

The Knicks clinched a nail-biting victory, securing their ticket to the second round against the Indiana Pacers with a final score of 115-112 at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night.

Brunson, the All-Star point guard, stole the spotlight with an impressive performance, racking up 41 points, three rebounds, and 12 assists in 44 minutes of intense gameplay. His stellar contribution marked a significant milestone, as he became the first player since Michael Jordan to achieve such a feat in a Knicks-76ers series.

Following a stellar regular season where Brunson showcased his prowess, averaging 28.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game, the Knicks entered the playoffs with high hopes. Their journey to the postseason marks their second consecutive appearance, boasting a solid record of 50-32 and securing the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

However, memories of last season's defeat to the Miami Heat in the second round loomed large, fueling their determination to go further this time. On the other side of the court, the Pacers, seeded sixth in the Eastern Conference, stood as formidable opponents with a respectable 47-35 record.

As anticipation builds for Game 1 of the series set to take place in New York City on Monday evening, basketball enthusiasts eagerly await the electrifying showdown between these two powerhouse teams.
