Milwaukee Bucks forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo, the big bro of star player Giannis Antetokounmpo, is facing a tough setback.

He's dealing with a torn Achilles tendon, as reported by Shams Charania. The injury news came after the Bucks got knocked out of the playoffs by the Indiana Pacers.

Details about how the 31-year-old from Greece got hurt aren't clear yet. He was all good during the playoff run, but now he's looking at surgery.

Thanasis hasn't been a big scorer during his time with the Bucks. But he's been a big spirit on the sidelines, always cheering on his team. Even though he's not the star player, his energy gets the crowd going when he hits the court.

Giannis, his younger brother, gave him a shoutout during this year's All-Star Game, showing love for their tight bond. They've been tight since they were kids, sharing stuff like shoes when money was tight.

With this injury, Thanasis might have a tough time with his future on the Bucks. Recovery from an Achilles injury usually takes about a year, so he might miss the whole next season. But no matter what happens, his bond with Giannis will stay strong.
