Durant And Irving Named NBA All-Star Game Starters For Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets will have Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving represent the team at the NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City on February 19.

Both players have been named starters for the event, marking the first time in Nets franchise history that the team has had two players selected to start multiple All-Star games.

Durant will be making his 13th All-Star selection, while Irving will be making his 8th appearance.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, and Donovan Mitchell will also be starting for the Eastern Conference.

Team captains James and Antetokounmpo will make their picks in a live pregame segment before the game begins.

There's also a chance that Nic Claxton could be named to the game as well, with reserves to be announced on February 2.


In the Western Conference, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has been named Captain, and will be joined by Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and Zion Williamson as starters.
