Inter Miami In Talks To Sign 2022 FIFA World Cup Winner Lionel Messi
As the 2023 Major League Soccer season approaches, speculation has been mounting over whether Inter Miami will be able to sign 2022 FIFA World Cup winner Lionel Messi.
The Argentine's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June, and while reports suggest that he is interested in extending his stay with the club, no official agreements have been made.
Inter Miami manager Gary Neville and captain Gregore have both expressed interest in potentially signing Messi, with Neville stating that the club is "working every second of every day to bring in the best players, and I think he’s one of the best."
Gregore added that he would be "really happy" to play alongside Messi, saying "Imagine working with Messi. Why not?"
The possibility of signing Messi has generated excitement for Inter Miami, especially given his strong performance at the World Cup in Qatar, which demonstrated his ability to continue playing at a high level.
However, until Messi signs a contract, Inter Miami will have to wait to see if they will have the chance to bring him to their team.
